    Thanks for your comment, Tara! For the advent calendar, I bought magnet sheets from Stampin' Up! and punched them with my 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch -- yes, I PUNCHED them. I punched the cardstock separate and then put them together and added the other layers. It takes almost an entire package of the magnet sheets. The person I CASEd from used just strips of magnets, but I couldn't get the circles to hold very well that way. I have punched 100+ magnets so far and my punch is fine. (Disclaimed: That punch is now not available because of quality issues, but mine has been fine.) You have to set the punch flat on the table and use both hands to press down, but you're supposed to use these new punches that way anyway.... hope that helps!
