  • Hi Shellie!

To make my watermarks I first choose an image in MDS then export it as a JPEG (I use the tree from the Forever Young stamp set).  From there I use Photoshop Elements.  I open the image, size it, add my font and size that as well.  I merge all the layers together so they become one image.  When that is completed I click on edit and in the drop down menu there's a feature called "Define Brush".  Click on that and the image is saved for future use in 'Brushes'.  Then whenever you want to add the watermark to an image, click on the brush tool (little paint brush), select your watermark and place on your photo.

There are some great You Tube videos if this leads you astray LOL.  I'm not sure how to use any other programs - Photoshop is well worth the investment and is where I edit all my photos.

Let me know if this helps!  Good Luck!

    Melissa

  • Hi shellie!

I just posted a question for you about the Sizzix alphabets on one of the discussion you replied to back in May.  Not certain if you are still following this discussion but certainly hope you are!

  • Thanks for your nice comments, Shellie.  Enjoy the new catalog!

  • I miss stampin' with you too!! We were hoping to get back on the west coast, but it looks like Afghanistan doesn't make a difference and we will be in Virginia in December. Oh well... maybe we can do convention next year!!
