    Hi Penny, for the Avant Garden card, I used the 2 largest stitched shapes famelets. The white square on my card is 2 7/8" (largest framelet) and the green square is the next size smaller stitched shapes framelet. If you're thinking to cut squares without those framelets, I would say to cut the largest one at 2 7/8" and the smaller one, cut at 2 1/2". Just nest them after you've cut to see if you like the size variation. I wanted my green square a little smaller, but you can really make it any size you like. I hope that helps!
