    Dear Renee, Good to hear from you. Thanks for posting the lovely samples, too. I've heard about your fire, via your posts on splitcoast, and I've looked at the gorgeous custom stamp and accessory storage your father-in-law built. I'm happy to hear that you're getting settled back. I didn't know about Frank's thyroid cancer, but I'm happy to hear that he's gotten a clean bill of health. When it rains, it pours, doesn't it? Keep up with the positive attitude. It makes such a difference. Is your SU business still thriving?
    I've made a few changes since that first convention with you. I changed careers and finished nursing school. I've been working as an RN at Bronson Methodist Hospital for four years now. I really like nursing, although it has its challenges, and I like the hospital. We moved from Lansing to Kalamazoo to be closer and we bought a lovely house on a lake that we enjoy very much. I have a full finished basement for all my stamping activities. My business is steady, not phenomenal, but consistent. I signed up a new recruit recently who is going to be very, very good. I'm loving the new catalog and I will attend convention again this year. I haven't missed one since the first time I met you. It's my "treat" and I look forward to it all year. Hang in there, Renee.     I used a bird watching guide book to paint some of my birds with the watercolor crayons. I don't worry whether anyone knows what kind of bird it is or not. I just picked ones I see at my feeder and other cute birds from the book that fit the style of the punch.

    I just left a comment but I think it went on a card. How awful for you and your family. Are you back and settled? Glad to hear none of you were hurt. Things are busy here but it is a good busy. The kids are keeping us jumping and stamping is going along well. Considering the economy, I can't complain. Are you going to convention? Not planning on it at this time. Great to hear from you!
