  • Hey Norma-

Missed seeing you in Madison last Saturday...hope everything is OK?? Katie will be planning a Meeting in Stoughton on January 18, 2014 and I'll be back in Wisconsin on June 21 for a new IB&C Shoebox. Have a great Christmas and hopefully I'll see you next year!

    Love ya!

  • Connie Hobbs Well, it isn't easy to write down. See if this makes sense: use an oval framelit (I used the 4th one from the middle). Cut two out of card stock, one for the lid and one for the box.. Now cut 2 more out of the 3rd one from the middle. Adhere the smaller one to the larger one centering it carefully. Take small snips in the outside edge of the larger framelit just to the smaller one. Bend these toward the "inside". Take a 2 x 12 inch piece of cardstock, run sticky strip all along one long edge. Adhere to the outside edge of the little flaps that you created. Go all the way around and when it meets, cut off excess and sticky strip seam. This is your bottom of the box. For the top do the same only use 1x12 inch piece of cardstock. Try to make your top just a little bigger than your bottom so that the lid will fit over the box. This took some trial and error on my part. After the basic box is made I embellished it with DSP and ribbon.

  • Norma,
Since you are a fellow Cheesehead, if you can't figure out the overalls (okay, I would help out anyone, but I was happy to see another Wisconsin demo)--I would mail you a card for your Granddaughter's scrapbook. Let me know.... my email address is stampinfool@tds.net.
