  • Hi Karen,

Thanks for your sweet comments. I've been having so much fun on this new site. Here are the instructions for my nugget cakes. I found this idea on a blog and just loved it! I downsized mine though. I have been having so much fun making these. I used styrofoam circles that I purchased at Wal Mart in the craft section. They are 5 7/8 x 1 3/16. I used two circles for the cake. I used a bowl to trace a circle on one of the styrofoam circles so it was slightly smaller than the bottom circle. To cover the nuggets, I cut pattern paper at 1 x 3 1/4 and wrapped it around the nugget. I attached it to the styrofoam ball with medium sized glue dots. Once you have the first circle covered add a piece of colored card stock to the top of the circle to cover the styrofoam and then attach the next styrofoam circle with glue dots and repeat the above directions on the smaller circle. I added another piece of cardstock to the top circle and attached nuggets to the top in a pie shape. Embellish however you like. I attached the stickers with toothpicks. Hope this is clear. If you have any other questions, please let me know. Have a great day!
