Karla- I am sorry I am just now seeing your question about cancelling the DBWS. Wow- I didn't realize it has been almost 3 years since I did [2018]. I honestly don't remember and it may have even changed by now. Hopefully you have explored that. At first it was worth it- but I had fever and fever customers. It just wasn't an expense that seemed worth it.

Hi Karla! Sorry I missed the October 5th downline event and seeing you. I had my club party that day. I tried to get that rescheduled but my hostess only had that Saturday available for October. So I couldn't come. Hopefully I will be able to see you in June. Happy holidays to you and your family. I always enjoying seeing your postings on SU connection.

Thanks!! I was surprised the article was published so fast. We were interviewed after school one day, and the article was in the paper the next. I've been busy with my homework for my RR class. Actually, I should be reading, but just had to take a study break.
My husband and I have been working in the basement. I think he said it best when he said, "It's like putting a jigsaw puzzle back together, but you didn't like the was the puzzle was in the first place and you want to do something different." It is going pretty slow. He's taking a vacation week this week in the hopes of getting it all done. If I get my homework done, I might pick at a few boxes.
My car got a little bit of hail damage while it was parked at school. We got a check from the insurance, but don't know if we'll actually fix it. I'd like to get a different vehicle soon, but we probably won't trade in my "old lady car", so I guess a few dents won't be that big of a deal.
When do you need to know about your class on 9/30? I guess it's hard for me to make plans so far out into the future, but it would be fun to go...just for a break from everything else!! I made out a "sizeable" wish list from the holiday mini, but just haven't had a chance to place the order.

It has been a CRAZY few weeks for me! I'm hoping that things will settle and we'll be able to get together sometime soon! Between the start of school for my boys, taking our son out to college, settling into my new job, attempting to put the basement back together, me starting my class at the U, and all of the other life stuff...I just haven't had any time to stamp. BUT...we will get together!
We're planning to stick around home for the long weekend. I'm hoping to catch up on some cleaning around the house, and it looks like I could do some canning :).
Did you get any hail damage? Your part of town really took a beating! What a way to end the first day of school, huh...

Gosh, Karla...'tis a small world!
I guess you could say I live near Yankton...about 4 miles west of town :) I live a mile downstream from the dam and a block away from the river. We are doing okay for now, but houses near us have water in their basements. All of my stuff...including my stamps and stuff...is in the garage. It's a pain, but hopefully, it'll be over soon.
Maybe we can get together sometime...I'm a teacher and home for the summer. Let me know...
