Hi again Melinda what a wonderful profession I worked for many years at a school working in the Home Economics Department. I use to teach Textiles and occasionally would take a cooking class but mostly assisted in the Foods area. It was quite a full on job. But I have always loved the little ones.
Maybe oneday you may still like to come and visit. Tasmania is the island under the mainland of Australia. Very much like New Zealand the South Island. It is quite and beautiful here. Not the rush of the big cities. I hope to have yours in the mail by Monday could be before but have to get my fingers working. Lovely to talk to you lets keep in contact. love Carolyn
Hi there Melinda thankyou for your kind gesture. What if I said I would like an envelope to jump into and come over to you. Love surprises. I have to get craking have some ideas so must get to work tomorrow. Calefornia seems a lovely place. Are there lots of beaches there. I just remember some of the surfing songs from when I was young. Have you been in Stampin Up very long? I am almost 5 years for me. Just love my crafty things. Lots of love Carolyn
Yes they are amazing. I swear she knows what I am saying to her sometimes...even if it isn't a normal command. She knows when it is time to walk and meet me when I get off for lunch and work. (I live close they meet me almost every day). I thought the time change would mess her up but at the time she usually starts bugging my husband to meet me she was right there bugging him..like she could read a clock! She is my first border collie and now I wouldn't have anything else!
Thanks. I guess you can tell mine is a border collie too. She is a TRUE bc. I love her to death. I have a friend who has a mini australian shepherd. He is the sweetest thing. Kind of skittish though. Have fun with your new one. I want another one but hubby says NO!
Thanks for your sweet comments, Melinda! My upline moved shortly after I joined, so I know what it's like to be "orphaned." I got so much help from the SU! forum when I started out, so it's nice to be able to give back a little bit.
Thanks Melinda for taking the time to comment on my little Bull frogs on the Monday Monster Halloween Mash entry. Appreciated. I cam up with the idea when I was gazing at my entry for the SSC 220, which was lying on the table upside down. The longer I looked at the cauldron the more it appeared to look like a bullfrog. And that's how it happened. At least that's what it looked like to me. LOL!
Hi Melinda!
Always fun to make a new friend! Ask away whenever you want. Had to laugh when I saw the date on your family description next to your picture (love the picture by the way)...it's my birthday!
Happy Stamping!

I am looking forward to it, too, Melinda. It's nice to have a few old friends, and a few new.
Melinda is there anything special you would like from here? love Carolyn
