I think that is so awesome that you won! How many recruits do you have total? I have two potentials right now one is the friend who is attending everything...I've talked to her a couple of times..she is a scentsy demonstrator right now and then another friend and lifelong stamper who just came home from Iraq..she's only been home 3 weeks and needs to get her feet on the ground.
i'm so so so excited! i'm pretty sure i have almost all 20 spots filled, so that's awesome, and a huge weight off my shoulders. i'm pretty much ready, just have some furniture to move on the day, to accomodate such a big group. i have a goal for my sales - i'm striving to get 15 of the 20 to place an order, and i already know at least 5 are placing $65 SAB orders! so, i'm happy with that.
i have a goal to get at least 2 bookings too, and talking to kellene, she said that shelli's goal is the same, and want sto get us all a couple of bookings as well.
ok, i have to cut this post off, because my computer is being WEIRD, and i can't tell what i'm typing - if it looks weird, soory! LOL i will send you a link to my blog after i've done my post with pictures and stuff! :)
I layered Certainly Celery, Rose Red, Shimmery White and a sheet from the Holiday Treasures ds. I used Patty Bennet's watercolor roses technique for the roses. To add more depth to the roses, I sponged the outer edges with Rose Red and a little Close to Cocoa, as well as overstamped with Cheesecloth in Sahara Sand. The leaves were sponged with Always Artichoke and overstamped with Canvas in AA.
Patty Bennett has a great video tutorial for doing the watercolor roses, go here to see it: http://pattystamps.com/pattys_stamping_spot/2009/04/watercolor-rose...
Hope this helps!
