  • Nice profile picture update! :-) And congratulations on the crop-a-dile! Isn't it fun to get free stuff? I got 6 new stamp sets and the color caddy this week with my Great Rewards and Sale-a-bration redemption!! I'm so excited!
  • Hi Jena:

Thanks for the note! My kit should be be early next week, I'm excited! Working to come up with some cute Easter ideas for my workshop next week Friday night. I've already got some awesome ideas on here!

Congrats on hitting your first goal! : )
  • Yes, I am a supervisor now. Aiming for Senior Supervisor by the end of Sale-a-bration!! I can understand about spacing out. I wish I had a picture of my face when they called to tell me I was one of the WOAL winners!!! I'm sure it was priceless.
  • I only have the one recruit...so far. My cousin's wife wants to sign up so bad, but not enough money. They just closed on their house, so that took extra cash. She still hopes to sign up before Sale-a-bration is over, but she had a terrible toothache and found out she has to have a root canal. She has to have $200 for them to start.....so much for her SU kit! I told her we still have the rest of this month...21 days. I have another lady that is interested in Lafayette (about 45 minutes from me). I have been doing workshops down there for my sister's church ladies since I started SU. Since the first of the year, I've really been pushing to get someone signed up down there. The lady (well, "girl"--in her early 20s) that's interested doesn't seem as enthusiastic as I would expect though. Not sure she'll pan out.
  • To be quite frank, I feel like I'm cheating! I feel so inadequate and undeserving. The Workshop of a Lifetime Challenge went from January 10-31. There were a total of 24 winners across the US and Canada. There were 11 winners in the associate/senior associate category, which is what I was at the time. If there was a tie, they decided it by your January sales. I only got one recruit during that time, so I'm guessing there were several people that got one recruit in the associate/senior associate category. I mean, one recruit doesn't sound like much to me. My sales that month were over $1600 though. I guess that's what put me over the top, so-to-speak. The recruit I got was sort of a carbon copy of my story. I contacted Lyssa and signed up....never met her, never spoke to her on the phone. My recruit did the same to me. She had come as a guest to a class at my home about a year ago. She contacted me in January and asked me about the demo benefits, etc. and signed up. I've only met her once and she now lives about 3 1/2 to 4 hours away from me. She's coming to my WOAL too.
  • That is awesome that you have so many people promoting you!!! Workshops, clubs, classes! Sounds like you're doing everything right from the first minute!! I had a slow start out here in "no man's land" by myself, but things are really taking off for me. Are you coming with Lyssa to my house in April? Maybe we can meet then.

BTW, how do you pronouce your name--like Jenna or Gina?
  • Welcome to Stampin' Up, Jena! Your name was all over Lyssa's email today--new demonstrator, promoted already, and second in sales!!! Congratulations!! What are you doing? You really hit the ground running!
  • Hello, my little rising star! --you were the star of the demo meeting last night! One month old and already promoted and second in sales for the month. That's fantastic!
