Thanks for noticing Morelli! He's our 4 legged boy. After we adopted him, he became sick and we nursed him for months. He's almost back to 100% . . I love anything "cat" when scrapping or making cards.
Gayle, the flower was made by stamping 3 stamps from the 6-Sided Sampler (flowers, stripes, & polka dots) on Very Vanilla then punching them out with the 7/8" scalloped circle punch. I wrinkled them up A LOT then split each into 2 and stamped the back of each one in the same designs. Put all 6 layers together with a brad and glued it on.
Thanks Gayle! Williamston is a great town and community. Gorgeous now with the fall colors! And I LOVE Kean's-- such a wonderful place. The candy counter is the best and I am often in there admiring the fabrics (for all the quilts I would like to make "someday" :)
thanks Gayle. No I do not have a blog. I have seen Snow White posted here and I fell in love with it. Then I followed the same concept and developed the others. I started looking at my punches and looking at ways to use them differently. For Tiana, I used the Autumn Accents Bigz Die for the green part of the shirt. The bottom was the Blossom Petals Punch, the top part of the dress is the dress framelet. I cut off the sleeves and used them as the petals on the chest. For Snow White, I just used the dress framelet. The red accents on the sleeves are from the whale thinlet (water). For Aurora, Jasmine, Pocahantas, all where just the dress framelet. For Ariel, I free handed the tail and punch all the circles and glued them down, I used Blossom Petals Punch. Cinderella also uses the Blossom Petals Punch. I also cut the sleeves twice. Hope this helps. If you have any questions, feel free to email me anytime.
