  • no problem.  let me know if you change your mind

  • Hi Ellen,

So sorry that I did not respond to you sooner.  I am overwhelmed with e mails and must have missed it.  Once you sign a petition, you're on everyone's list!!!  Thanks for your patience.

  • How did your moms move go?

    are you back home now?

  • I'm heading to Utah for a few weeks to help my mother pack for her move back to Oneida (near Green Bay) Wisconsin. She is 80 and misses her siblings. She is a quilter with a ton of fabric to hand down, so I may set aside card-making and get into quilting after Christmas :). Meanwhile, here in Alberta, the first 100 of 1200 High River residents who need housing were able to move into temporary modular homes  the other day, but it keeps storming! We get rain and hail almost every other day (storm cells and tornado watches). The other night 4 homes were hit by lightening in Calgary and one of them had the side of their house blown out! Siksika Nation is struggling. Imagine staying in a recreation center over a month-- no privacy! We heard from a resident artisan today who regretfully told us the Energy Minister's headdress contracted to him was just one of his many losses! A young dentist in High River (who was raised there), finally returned after all his years away studying to open his own practice, built a home for his young family and lost everything... It will be years long recovering for many I'm afraid. Thanks for your prayers!

  • praying for you and for all the people in your area as well.

  • just checking on you...

    (((hugs)))

  • Thanks for your comments.   The 3 by 3 cards are fun to make and a great way to use up odds and ends.  My friends love receiving the little cards and I love using them for little thank you's for when I am out for a meal or visit with friends.  They value the effort put into them.

  • Hi Ellen . . . share away! The more we share and help each other the more we both will grow!! Thanks so much for friending me!

    Hugs -

    Kay
