    Hi Anna.  Thanks for you comment re my Butterfly card - I sponged some Bermuda Bay onto Velum and punched out the Butterflies with my Bitty Butterfly punch.

    I have a thank you card for you. It has a return to sender stamp from the sandbox.. Never made it to you but when I was deployed you sent cards for the troops and I never resent it when I came home. PM me your address and ill send it :)

    I think it is perfectly appropriate for everything you mentioned.  If we had a "Mazel Tov" stamp; that would be perfect for weddings, births, and bar and bat mitzvahs.  But since we don't; "Shalom" is great.

    Hi Anna!  "Shalom" means "peace".  It is used as "hello" and "goodbye" also, in Hebrew.  I don't think you can go wrong with it. Any colors should be O.K.  I would avoid using red and green together, unless you have other colors, too.  It's funny how some of just automatically think "Christmas colors" and don't like to use them.  Maybe it's just me and my crazy friends - LOL.
