  • Agreed from what I see on SC!  Enjoy your next visit and thanks for the impending update.... I would love the specific details myself (thought I'd figured it all out on my own; ha!  That butterfly will arrive here on Friday next week; can't wait!)!  Thanks Teresa, have a great night!  :)

  • Ahh, that's a good theory too; there you go!  How lucky you are friends... I adore her work!  Have fun "getting to the bottom of this (LOL)," feel free to clue me in when you learn the details; I'd love that!  :)  Thanks so much!  :)

  • Hi Teresa, How are you?

I saw your question posted about the butterfly card (http://www.stampinconnection.com/photo/b-w-swallowtlai-down) and wanted to share my "opinion" on that as I don't really know the true answer myself.  I had initially thought she stamped and embossed two butterflies and then "cut them in half!"  I'd also imagine she adhered the bodies to a card stock backing?!!  That's my guess!

I hope that is helpful to you?  If not, click on Shoni's name and leave a message for her on her wall (bottom of her "My Page"), as I am doing with you now.  Best wishes, Donna

  • Will do. I sent my aunt an email to ask her about it.

  • I don't know much about where my grandfather was from. He died when I was 2 years old. Most of my family is German on both sides though. I'll have to ask my aunt. She did some family tree research. My granparents lived on a farm in Wisconsin but I think that was through my grandmother - in Glidden, WI. Her maiden name was Zielke.

  • I don't think my husband has any relatives up in the Kentucky area.  They are mostly from the Gilmer/Lufkin area.  But you never know about distant relatives.
