  That sounds wonderful. I love creating and making Christmas Cards.
  
  We have lots of tomatoes right now. So far I've made a triple batch of barbecue sauce. Today will be chunk tomatoes--there should be about a bushel ripe now. We like the big pieces in chili and spaghetti sauce. Later on will be V-8 juice, a favorite in our family.
  
  What kind of pickles did your grandma make? Most years I make my Grandma's recipe for bread-and-butter pickles. So far we've only had a few cucumbers to slice for salad.
  
  Fall seems to be here. I suppose in a few days the hummingbirds will leave. We have enjoyed them so much. Some have already moved on. Yesterday there were not more than eighteen at any time. The most we could count at one time was sixty--they move so quickly, it's hard to be accurate!

  Thanks so much for the swap invite, but I do a swap with my DL each month and that is about all I have time for right now.  Sounds fun!  I loved the cards from the convention swap.  Thanks for dropping them off at the hotel for me.

  Michelle,

  I'm not able do the Halloween swap because I have hurt my right thumb and have this brace that gets in my way.  I'm having an MRI tomorrow to find out if I need surgery. 

  Thanks for thinking of me.  By the way how much do I owe you for my tee shirt from convention?

  Thank you for the Halloween swap invite, but like Dee, my customers are just not that into Halloween. Keep me in mind for other swaps though!
