  • OOOHHHH, I did not know that there was a "Facebook" style to this site.... Cool stuff here and I love the showcase ideas. Was not so crazy about it until recently. I made a very cute box for my mom for her 70th birthday and mailed it out. (no picture) so I had to make another one and took picture of that. Will have to post. THen I also made her a cupcake box. I had to mail it so I glued that cup cake in the box ... to funny listening to my sister account to how mom had to get it out!!!
THe new box was donated to the chocolate festival and raised $50 at the auction. THe girls made some gormet chocolate pretzel sticks , I made the mataching box and it sold for $80.!! I will have to post the pictures....
  • Sorry I did not find you comment until this am. Ya I love this site too. Lots of inspiration, and also get a kick out of watching the number of cards entered per day. Happy Stamping.
  • Oh my gosh, you really did have a terrible year. I am so sorry. I hope that your Dad is doing well now. I skipped convention this year myself. I had an opportunity to go down to St. George with some friends in September to attend Jill Olsen's group meeting so I opted for that. Leadership really was great and is my favorite SU! event. So I will try real hard not to miss it, but I know life gets in the way sometimes. Where are you moving to once your house sells? Montana? :o)
  • Hey Linda! We had a crazy and sad year last year. I had to make four family emergency trips to St. Louis. I lost my grandmother, 2 aunts, and my dad had a quadruple bypass. In between the trips we had a 3-week vacation in Hawaii, so that kinda zapped the old pocket book and I just couldn't go to convention or leadership. It sounds like leadership was fantastic, but you have to do what you have to do. We currently have our house for sale and that adds a whole new "fun" aspect to like, but we are doing good. How are things with you?
