  • Oh Kelly, I wish I had the time but I am so busy I don't even have time to make them for myself anymore.  Besides, jewelry is such a personal thing and you would have to be here to get the fit just right.  You know how temperamental watch bands are.  They have to fit us like a glove.  They don't require a lot of tools to create so I will try to do a video on them so you can create your own.  :)  You are sweet for asking though!

  • Kelly, thanks for your friend request!  I'm glad you're enjoying the videos.  If I can just get over this cold I hope to make some more but right now I sound like an old lady who smokes like a chimney!  lol  Hopefully my voice will be back to normal soon.

You asked about my watch.  I'm glad you like it!  It's the watch that SU sells (Item 120921for $29.95 on clearance)  It is actually a ribbon watch but I could never get the ribbons to stay on.  My watch bands are made with 4 lobster clasps (2 on each side).  You have to made them the right size for your wrist but most are either 5" or 5 1/2".  Hmmm, maybe I should do a video on them!  You can find pre-made bands like this.  I found the first one I bought at a grocery store!  Most of the other ones I found at little boutiques BUT they are more fun to make yourself (and a whole lot cheaper).  I will try to do a video on them and show you how much fun they are to create.  :)

  • If you have a versa mark pen you could trace over the raised portion of the embossed flower from the folder and then emboss it with embossing powder. I have not tried it this way but it might work.
  • Hi Kelly,

I used the Shimmery White paper and the water painting technique. Emboss an image with white embossing powder on your shimmery paper. Spritz the paper with water. Using a paint brush or aqua painter drop some ink from a reinker onto the paper and watch it spread. You can use more than one colour just make sure that you don't add too much water or the colour will get muddy. I'm sure there is a example in the videos.
