  • Hi Jane,

Yes I would. colours I used were crumb cake and soft suede on vanilla card.

I used the belle toile background stamp and  versa mark ink and heated embossed in white embossing powder. Then sponged over the entire card stock with crumb cake ink leaving some very  lightly sponged  areas.

I added some darker patches using the soft suede on the areas where the white embossing powder was heaviest . Take care not to put too much of the darker ink on ....looks a bit naff if you over do it. I used early expresso card stock for the mats and base card.  Then wipe  off the excess ink with some kitchen roll.

  • Jane,

On the Watercolor Trio Done Simply set I did I used the Martha Stewart scoring board. I picked it up last week. I have never had a scoring board of any kind and I'm wondering why I waited so long! I just took the scoring tool (kind of like the bone folder) and scored 1/2 in in all the way around. I was careful not to go too close to the edges until I was sure where the lines would meet up. I hope that all makes sense.
  • Hi Jane.......On the shutter card, the large die cut can be layered with the scallop circle#2 die.
