    I just used the template I showed on my blog that I just free hands cut after sketching it out - you could some stiff plastic or thick window sheets even- used sponges and daubers to sponge on the color- then cut the image into four to create a window effect- This may not easy to demo at a regular workshop though- it was more of an experimenting thing with me.
