  • Sorry to take so long to respond back to you. You asked for the pattern for my Surprise Box . Here are the directions for the box. The rest is under the other pictures. Cut your card stock 10"x5 1/2. Then score at 2", 31/2,6/12, & 8". On the 10" side at the 31/2 inch score measure up 11/4" put a tiny pencil mark on the score line do this at the 61/2 score, the put a mark at the bottom halfway between the 3/12 and the 61/2 score line. This is your guide for the next scores. Score from the 11/4 mark to the center mark diagonal. Then score from the same 11/4 mark to the 2" score line. Do the same score on the 61/2 mark. Turn the card around to the other 10" side and repeat the scoring. When completed you start your folding. 2" is a mountain fold, 31/2 valley fold, 61/2 is a valley fold and the last mountain fold. Then the other score lines push the center score line into the center and the two sides should fold in and crease with the bone folder. Do this on the the other 3 score lines. When folded up it should come together in the center. Now just decorate the box anyway you like or you can decorate the same way I did. This is such a great little gift to send to someone. I would put a note with the card explaining how to open the card by just sliding the ribbon off the top. That way they won't untie the little knot bow. Good luck and have fun.
