  • Hi Dacia, just checking in to see how the heck your doing? I got bad news 2 weeks ago that I had Cancer. Last week I had a Mastectomy and the Lymph Nodes removed from my right underarm. I came home on Friday, and am still recouperating. I will not be able to make it to Regionals. I am just heartbroken about this. I was so looking forward to it. I hope that some of you will be able to fill me in on what went on and all of the festivities. I am so bummed about it right now. I see your work and it is fantastic! I haven't felt good for a while and haven't been able to drag by body to my craft room. I already feel better and have more stamina, just waiting to heal and then on to some much need stamping therapy. Then the Chemotherapy starts, not looking forward to that at all. Stay safe, have tons of fun at Regionals, and may you always be Blessed. My word to you is don't forget to do your regular self breast exams, that is how I found my lump.

  • Hi Dacia, I've been doing fine. I had Hernia Surgery 2 weeks ago, so am still on the mend from that, but am going strong and am almost back to normal. That Surgery has put me behind in my stamping and getting ready for my classes because my stamping room in in the basement and I can't do stairs yet. I see the Doc. tomorrow, and I am pretty sure that he will clear me to do the stairs, since I am doing so well. I am having stamping withdrawal over here. I have been able to stamp a few things, but nothing major to speak of. Well Girl, are you ever going to let me in on how to do the quilted card? It has an image in the middle and quilting all around it at an angle. Thanks in advance if you do. You can email me the directions if you want, it is at
rhoffman16@wi.rr.com I would really appreciate knowing how to make that card. I don't know where you live, but I am in Wisconsin, and I have had enough of this snow and ice and cold. I am really ready for Spring! It was very nice to hear from you.

    Cyber hugs, Trish
  • Hi Dacia, a while back I wrote you and commented on your Quilted Card and asked if you would mind letting me know how to do it, or point me in the direction of a tutorial. The card that I asked about I think is called "I Love You". It is Quilted in the center of the card, and in the very center of the quilting it has a red heart. Thanks in advance for any help that you may be of to me.
