  • Christie,
In regards to my 'Gratitude Card' & the embossing resist technique, I started with the printed DSP paper (Polka Dot More Mustard) & stamped the medallion in VersaMark. Emboss the image with clear powder. Brayer over the embossed image & the entire DSP square with a dark ink (I used E. Espresso) several times. To finish up, wipe the image with a paper towel until you have wiped it clean & dry...you will have a clean image with a printed DSP showing through underneath. It is very striking & super easy to do. Some people call this 'emerging color' technique also. I sure hope this helps you out & thank you for your comments...it was very kind of you.
  • At least 6 for the circle quilt. Amy had us bring 10 to the quilt weekend, but that included enough for both quilts - circle and square. But you definitely used most of it for the circle quilt.
  • Christie -- I never did get the name or go up there myself, but she one of the quilters at Sew and Save in Clearfield. My friend says they both do a good job, but she just loves one of them. I'll ask again and see if I can get a name for you.
  • I thought you had it - sorry! stampingly_yours@comcast.net
  • Hi Christie. Thanks for your comment. The paper is the new "Travel Journal" DSP in the Summer Mini Catalog.
