  • Cathi, on the Owl Valentine, I used the old Texture Plates that SU used to carry and applied VersaMark ink to the Texture Plate, then ran it through the Big Shot.  Hope this helps!!  Phyllis

  • Hi Cathi! It was so much fun meeting you and talking to you in Orlando!! Hope to see you again soon!!

  • On the tiles/Dasher card: after doing the score lines, I just added ink directly to paper. I ran old olive one way and cajun craze the opposite way. It turned out pretty cool, don't you think?

Thank you for wanting to be my friend.
  • Hi Cathy, I didn't use embossing powder, it is white craft ink and the Stamp-a-ma-jig for positioning over the original stamp colors to give the effect. I have done that on several cards with various stamps.
  • Cathi,
I stole the idea from Dawn's blog. The link is shown below. Basically there is a 3/4" circle punched in the red layer (toward the bottom of the heart). The red layer is 3" x 3". Then line that up on the black layer and make another 3/4" circle. Adhere the red layer to the black layer with dimensionals that are at the very corner of the red layer and one that is placed along the left side to stop the slider. Then I cut a another piece of red card stock (2" x 2.5") to slide between the red and black layer, this is what the white tag is adhered to. This slider will hold the Jelly Bellies in until it is pulled out. It's actually quite simple. The white layer on top of the treat holder is the only time I used the heart punch. If you have questions let me know.

  • Cathi, If by beautiful you mean my SU page, I changed it by clicking "settings" on the right top corner of your screen; then clicked "my page"; then clicked "change appearance". Then I chose that layout! That easy. If you meant something else was beautiful, and want directions, just write me back! Thanks!
