    A friend of ours who lives about a mile a way heard her triple pane sliding glass window explode after one of the booms. Not sure what her insurance company will say. On a happier note, my hubby and I spent part of the day taking the ferry to Kingston to have lunch at a favorite place (on the deck) and take photos. Glorious.

    Thanks Susan. Yes, our 4th weekend was wonderful except for the few hours when it sounded as if we were in a war zone. I understand that our city will now be banning fireworks so that should lessen the noise somewhat. Blessings!

    Sweet Susan...thank you so much for sending that box of stampin' love my way. I was not expecting it and it was such a treasure to receive. I had a wonderful moment with my 10 year old because of it. He sat down with me on the stairway in our entry hall and watched me open it. When we saw the Tootsie rolls inside the little cutie pie box we looked at each other and had a little party right there. We took each flavor and ripped it in half and shared with each other until we had eaten them all. Then we high-fived and went on with our chat about how the day had gone at school. Thanks for the memory!
