I bought the original Slice a few years back when they came out with it. I like a lot of Making Memories products and found that the images go really well with their stuff. I had some problems like you mentioned but found that they were corrected by the new upgrade that came with the MS cards. I also find that the battery drains really quickly so I prefer using it while plugged in. A huge plus for me is the size. I am able to take it to crops and it doesn't infringe on my workspace. Reminds me that I haven't played with it in a while and I think I have a couple of unopened design cards...
Oh, I am very glad that I ordered Top Note and several of the embossing folders. I have a few texture plates from a long ways back that are still in the cellophane. I had to have the Lattice and a few embosslits and the scallop rectangle and the two tags and, and and...
I really like the doctor's bag for it. I've resisted all the large electronic die cutters (I do have a Slice). I am quite certain that the Big Shot can handle everything I have for use with the Cuttlebug. I am just going to be beside myself waiting for Christmas morning even though I will know exactly what is under the tree!
That's so good to hear. I was back and forth on it as I already have a Cuttlebug. Do you have some favourite dies? I really love all the cool dies for the Big Shot and just decided to go for it. I can't wait for it to arrive!
