  Hi, Orla!! I'm sorry I didn't write back sooner, but no - I won't be able to make Convention this year. I've gone back to college and there's just really too much going on. I'm sad, though, and will miss seeing you and all that stamping. Maybe in 2011. Have fun!!

  Unfortunately all of my "off work" time is pretty well taken up between convention, beach vacation and with my son going to college, I probably will not be taking anymore days off from work unless I'm dreadfully ill.   Orla,
  We get in at 10:15am on Wed and leave 10:15 am on Sunday. We are leaving from Philadelphia to get a decent flight price so we are staying over in Phila on Tues evening. Linda made the hotel reservation, so I don't even now what room we are in or what floor or anything, but maybe we'll end up staying by each other. We'll have to get together.
  I did e-mail the directions to Wendy and I did hear back from her that she received them. How lucky for you (May 11th) - my birthday! Hope you have a blast for me!! Talk to you soon. Sheri

  I had Basal Joint Arthroplasty in November. Quite extensive! But I have healed very well & I can draw & paint without pain now! You can hardly even see my 6(!) scars any more. While I was recovering I knew I'd go mad if I could not create anything, so I still made stuff. My Big shot became my best friend! Since I was wearing a cast for 3 months I could not tie bows or knots, so I was able to be creative mostly using die cuts. I just held the machine down with my cast on top of the handle & cranked with my left hand. Amazing what you can do when you have to!

  Hi Orla, I'm afraid we are not going this year either. It's an expense thing! I was off of work for 3 months after my hand surgery. I'm just getting back into it. And, Debbie's husband lost his job, so there you go....We'll sure miss seeing you!!!

  I just got your message. I will get the directions to that e-mail. (Not that there really are any directions!!) I will just re-measure mine (doghouse). How are you?? I am staying at the Marriott also with one of my downline. Our Syracuse event got cancelled because of the snow. How sad. But we are looking forward to convention!! Maybe we can meet up somewhere.
