    Hi Mary Jean!
    Thanks for your comment on my Christmas card. For the embossed background, I brayered soft suede ink directly on the embossing folder and then placed the paper and ran it through the Big Shot. The ink goes into the depressions made from the embossing and really makes the embossing pop! More info on my blog: http://nanceleedy.blogspot.com/2010/09/muse-inspired-csc07-cccc49.html. TFL!

    .Autumn Spendor card: the leaves were emb. with gold and cut out free hand, the die does not work on this stamp set.
