  • Hi Mary Ellen, Thanks for commenting on my recipe swap!  Happy New Year to you too!  Hey, where are all your samples?  I know you DO stamp!  Get some on here!  Take care!  :)
  • Hi Mary Ellen, I see you're from Illinois. Me too! Where are you?
You commented on the rose on my card. I could explain it but it would be much easier for you to watch it on this video from Patty Bennett's blog. She is so very talented! Here's the link to the rose, but make sure you check out all of her tutorials. They will blow your mind!

    Hope this helps!

  • Mary Ellen, you posted a comment on my Elements of Style card re whether I used pencils, markers or crayons. The answer is neither! I watercolor using an Aquapainter and pick the color directly off my Classic pads. I start with a wash with the lightest color, then get progressively darker with the shading.

    Hope this helps!
  • here's the link for the card pattern
  • I would not charge for sharing an idea, and it wasn't my idea to begin with! LOL
  • Hi Mary Ellen, I would love to be friends and this technique is so easy, I shared with my club and they all went home with a beautiful card front that only took about 15 min to make. Its called the Zindorf Technique named after Michelle Zindorf, I dont have her web address at the moment ( im supposed to be working at my other job) Lol. you can google her though. anyway start with a brayer, sponges and a white gel pen thats all. When I get a min Ill try and find her blog address for you its great.
  • Hi Mary Ellen,

If you have clicked to stop following, I am not sure what you need to do. Sorry I am not much help. Lisa
  • Hey Mary Ellen! Let's hope that it doesn't SNOW next weekend...it's predicted for tomorrow ...only an inch or two, but I sure hope the weather is good on the 6th! Can't wait to meet you!
  • Thank you for the nice comment on my Tile using Rub Ons. They are fun and very easy to make.
