Marlene, sorry it's 12 spindles. I guess I can't count...............

Marlene, the ships wheel is a 3" circle with 8 word window pieces for the spindles. On the back of the circle glue a white 1 1/4" circle in the center, glue spindles just at edge of this circle, starting at 12 oclock then 6 oclock, 3 oclock then 9 oclock etc. etc. lining them up directly across from each other until all 8 are in place. After everthing is in place, run through embossing folder.
