  Hi Laura,

  Thank you for the comments on my card. This is the first card I've submitted to this site.  The Technique used to color the roses is simply water coloring with the ink pad.  I Used only Real Red for this entire card.  Use less ink for lighter color and less water on the brush with more ink for darker colors.  I started with the lightest amount of color, then applied a little more ink to the brush for the medium color, then finished the shaded areas with little water on the brush and loaded it with more ink.. Cut the roses out and adhere to a piece of 5.25 x 4" whisper white card stock stamped with En Francais Background stamp.  Adhere this to a A2 size card base from Whisper White card stock.
