  • Hi,
I finally found you after searching for you in the member list so I'm not sure how to answer the e-mail either. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I have the same problem with the milk carton die. I haven't quite figured out how to do it. One way is too much and cuts the creases, another way makes the creases but doesn't cut the box. I usually end up scoring it by hand. Please post if you get a good answer. Karen
  • Ha ha! Yeah, I think the only place your original message seems to be is in my (everyone's) personal email outside of Stampin' Connection! I was able to get this "thread" now... That is probably why no one has responded...can't figure out how!!

Anyway, I pulled my die out and I was remembering right. It only cuts completely if I use the two cutting pads. The creases are not real defined but are good enough. If I add a shim, it cuts through some of the creases. The premium crease pad plus shim still doesn't cut all the way; I have shimmed it until it won't go through the Big Shot with no success. Now other dies w/ creases I have HAD to use the crease pad in order to prevent the creases being cut. I decided it was not optional! So, give the two cutting pads a try if you haven't yet. Good luck!
  • Did you get an answer about the milk carton? I can't figure out how to view items sent to the group or responses or how to respond just to one person. I finally just went through the Klompenstamper member list and found this option! Anyway, I also have the SAME problem with my die. I haven't used it in a while but I THINK that what I did was actually use the two cutting boards instead of the premium crease pad (even w/ shim) and it worked fine. I only cut one at a time, which I think is recommended for any die w/ crease lines no matter. If you haven't rec'd better suggestions, let me know and I will get mine out and double check if that is truly what worked for me. I think it was. If I was CERTAIN, I would have posted to the whole group :)
