  • Hi Jen! Thanks for your comment on my Punched Posies card in Baja Breeze, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Tangerine Tango, and Pear Pizzazz. The smaller scallop circle is the 1 3/4" scallop circle punch and the larger scallop circle is the new 2 3/8" scallop circle punch. The scallop border punch was used for the Baja Breeze horizontal strip. Mickey Roberts
  • Hi Jen,

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my Because I Care card. I use Nestabilities for my circles. I haven't used our circle cutter yet, so I'm not sure how that works. These are easy to use and can be used with the Big Shot or Cuttlebug.

Cute gallery! I love those Boutique cards with the cupcakes. I may just have to give that a try ;) TFS!

  • Jen, I don't use watercolor pencils. I pick the color up directly off the pad with and aquapainter. Hope this helps!

  • Hi Jen--the technique is called "kissing". You ink up one stamp in a light color, then ink up another stamp in a darker color, touch the stamps together thus "kissed" then stamp off your image. You will want to use the lighter one to stamp with of course--if reversed you would not be able to see the different image. I inked an elephant in curry and kisssed him with pink and he was toooo cute. try it!
  • Jen,
The Upsy Daisy is heat embossed with White embossing powder. The ink colors are then sponged onto the paper. The embossed image will then 'resist' the ink. A clean sponge can be used to wipe off any excess that might sit on top of the embossed image. I learned about it on Split Coast Stampers. They have tons of tutorials and techniques to share for free.
