  • CORTNEY the ribbon adds no bulk other that the tiny knot...which is less than a large pearl. You can watch my video on how to make a bow with a tiny knot. the tails are loose and just fold down. The pointsettier is not on dimensionals so it is no bulkier than three layers of card stock. I think the shading is an optical illusion making it look bulky! I make my envelopes for the card and then insert it into a standard envelope for no additional postage plus it protects the decorative envelope and my recipient gets to see the liner because it has not been adhered to the outside of  the original envie! I have never liked bulky cards for the reasons you suggest so almost all of my cards are not bluky they just look WOW! This card is 5 1/4" X 6" the postage does not go up until it is 6 1/8" x 11 1/2"....so I use a standard card size envelope! COOL CHEAT TIP!

  • Hi Cortney! Thanks for your encouraging comments!! :-) The cake...took a bit of time, I posted a video on how I made if someday you want a little piece! (grin). Blessings!

  • Hi Cortney!  That all sounds really terrific and definitely like everyone enjoyed your "event!"  And who doesn't like to win something or feel like a winner?!!!  A great plan.  I have also just had my first 50/50 signup sheet.  For each 50 spent on merch. they writ their name and tel. # in a box; when the sheet is filled I'll randomly select a winning number and they will win a $50 gift certificate from me.  I can send the sheet to you (I think), if you'd like.

Dinner's calling; rushing downstairs now but, it was great to read of your success and excitement!  Keep having fun!

    Enjoy the day, Donna
