  In June I will be having a Presto Patterns Specialty Paper class. I did a demonstration with the paper at a demonstrator event last Saturday, so I prepared a handout with 11 different techniques to do with the paper that's ready for my class, and of course, lots of card ideas and samples.
  
  I started last week posting the samples and techniques on my blog and will continue throughout this week, so you might want to check it out if you think that might be something you're interested in. I would also be happy to email the handout to you if you want, JLMK.

  I have been trying to do more product classes, which really helps my sales. I had a bird punch class, where they had to purchase the bird punch and then they brought it to the class with them and got to make 4 cards using the punch in different ways. The class was only $5 but I had 16 gals buy the punch and take the class. Then, after the class, when everyone saw the display of cards we made at the class and, of course, some other ideas, I sold even more punches. They thought they didnt' need it, but were inspired to see all the different things you could do with it.

  I had a lot of things going on for sure! The end of the mini catalog was really hairy with last-minute orders. I had my summer mini open house on the 29th, so I took orders for both minis, and I did offer free shipping and a lot of gals placed orders from both minis. I had a couple gals that wanted to stock up on retired papers and inks and those orders really added up quickly for me. Other than that, just the usual hostess clubs and classes.

  I use the "search" a lot to help save me time. With my limited computer time, I usually am searching an idea for a stamp set and/or a card layout, so the "search" is the perfect tool for me.
