  • Hi Amy! Thank you for your nice comment on my wall. I didn't do much in Jan. but after spending a very little bit of time making some Valentines projects and posting the pics on my Facebook, I actually got an "order" to make 33 Valentines for my sister's clas (she is a teacher). I've been busy cramming that in and they are getting mailed today. They came out cute. Are you on Facebook?

I believe my regionals are on 3/19 and I am contmplating going. It's a couple hours from me and I can only go for the day. I assume it' worth it. Please tell me how you like it!!!

  • Okay Amy I put you in my phone and my number is 218 684-5530. I have made 50 some cards and am going to 3D treats too. We are coming in on Friday night and staying at the Hyatt so I hope that is close. It will be so fun! How many in your group. I am going to meet Lee Ann Furness from Rochester. Do you  know her? We are sitting with her.  Talk to you soon! Bev
  • Amy, I hope you are getting excited about the regional! Can't wait to meet up with you next Saturday! Bev

  • Thanks so much for your nice comments on my page. Sounds like we *do* have a lot in common! I am just now starting to get back into my album making and card making. I stopped all things creative in 2007 when my marriage started to crumble. Now that I have weathered that storm and bounced back to my old self I am so anxious to start crafting again. I used to attend 1 scrapbook camp each year ~ some of the funnest times of my life!

I'm not sure where this S.U. business will take me. At this point I think I would like to make some items to sell, rather than try to make $ off of workshops. What are your thoughts on that?

  • thank you Amy
  • Hi Amy - welcome to Stampin' up!  I was the same way - I stamped for many years before finally joining as a Stampin' Up! demo.  I am just  completing my 5th year - at the  beginning of Feb.  - i'm excited about getting a 5 year pin and walking across stage at convention this year - yippee!

When I started my business I set myself some goals - to have one class a month, book two workshops a month - sometimes I met my goal and some months I didn't.  I changed my goals as time moved on - looking at my sales each month and the income chart - extra income at $400, $700 and $1000 (and there are more) - find the one that works for you.  If you are meeting a goal every month then you need to stretch it again.  I started a club that met once a month - I set it up for the beginning of the month - for me this was a gauge on how my sales would be for the month - and for what customers are buying.  Good luck with your business!  Visit my blog if you need project ideas - I try to post almost every day.  monikastamp.wordpress.com

  • Hi Amy! So nice of ou to Friend Request me ~ thank you! Please be patient as I try to figure out this site. I am a total Facebook junkie but this is a little different. I look forward to learning from you  and maybe someday I can share a thing or 2! ;) I *have* been stamping for a few years but I'm definately more of a scrapbooker. I've always LOVED the S.U. catalogs and decided to finally take the plunge. So, now, I'm overwhelmed with it all! Any tips you can share on KISS (Keeping It Simple, Silly) I would SO appreciate it!
